Officials are investigating an explosion of a reservoir in Toledo, Ohio, which released a chemical into the air, triggering a massive evacuation into the area.
One person was hurt and sent to the hospital, but officials believe injuries are not life threatening.
They are also not sure because of the explosion.
An employee at the MC Tanc Terminal company who specializes in transporting liquid chemicals in large quantities and offers transport, storage and maintenance of containers with tankers called on rescue teams to address the explosion.
The released chemical was glylidil metacryli, an industrial clothing product used in plastics, tires, and resins.
Local officials say that this chemical can cause eyeburning, nose, mouth, and skin.
