An incident occurred after the end of the mechi for title W BC Silver in the heavy category, between Turkish boxer Umut Camkiran and Azerbaijanis Mourad Aliev, held in Istanbul.
The confrontation, which took place in Fenerbahce Arena, ended with great tensions, as Aliev’s actions towards fans in the Tribuna prompted harsh reactions.
Camkiran, who prior to this duel had a perfect record of 25 victories in the same mess, with 23 of them reached by knockouts, faced Aliev in a 12-round war.
Immediately after the gong’s fall for the end of the last round, the boxer from Azerbaijan began celebrating, but his inappropriate gestures in the direction of fans in the Tribuna tenseed the situation.
In those moments, a fan entered the ring and punched Aliev. After him, several others joined the ring, causing a massive clash.
Tensions continued for a few moments, while Aliev left the ring after the incident. Because of chaos, the direct broadcast of the mechi was interrupted.
Meanwhile, there is still no official announcement of the final outcome of the duel for title W BC Silver. /Telegrafi/
