Kosovo Prosecutorial Council ( The KKP, has sponsored by official duties the chief prosecutor of the Basic Prosecutorship in Pec, Joy Vucetaj, and Prosecutor Arlinda Nallban-Gacaferri.
Duagjini has learned that members of the Kosovo Prosecutorial Council ( The KKP, have unanimously voted for its suspension.
The KKP will initiate disciplinary procedure against them and form investigative panels for considering the case.
The support of Chief Prosecutor Vucetaj and Prosecutor Gacaferi was recommended by Chief State Prosecutor Zejnullah Gashi following the assassination of Arlinda Zekaj and concerns about the way justice institutions handled its reports and defence requirements.
Zekiaj was killed on October 25th in Vitomirica, Pec, while on October 22nd he had sent a letter to chief prosecutor Vucetaj, expressing concern for her security and warning of the danger to her life.
