Guxo Party Chairman Faton Peci has called on the Democratic League of Kosovo ( The LDK) for joint reflection and commitment, with the goal of overcoming the current political situation.
Peci, through a Facebook post, has said there are only 24 hours left for the election of Kosovo president.
In view of current events and given that we have only 24 hours to elect Kosovo’s president, as Chairman of the Guxo Party, I call on the LDK for reflection of joint engagement with the aim of overcoming this situation, Peci wrote.
According to him, electing the president would contribute to completing the country’s high institutions and creating institutional stability.
President/’s election would not only complete our high institutions, but also create stability in these challenging times, he declared.
Peci has said institutional stability is necessary also for meeting the challenges related to judicial processes in The Hague.
He has called for political co-operation and compromise, stressing that overcoming the current situation is in the interest of Kosovo.
Let’s work together, do our best to get through the difficult days Kosovo is going through. To witness to everyone, and to ourselves and to each other, that we love Kosovo, our blessed country, Peci wrote.
For Kosovo, compromise is worth overcoming, agreement is worth it. For Kosovo it’s worth everything, he’s finished. /Telegraph/
