In the ranking released Tuesday, Kosovo has noted progress compared to the June 16th ranking, when it was 85th. In April, the National was ranked 81st.
This advance comes despite two losses in the ‘%play-off/Kypoff contests for the World Championship, where Kosovo faced Austria. The opponent’s position and the results of other nationals have affected changes in the ranking.
Austria, though winning both matches against Kosovo, has also fallen for two positions in FIFA’s ranking.
Spain continues to be at the top of the world ranking, followed by the United States and Germany.
