Rama said dialogue and democratic confrontation of ideas are the right way to resolve disputes, despite differences in attitudes.
I am ready everywhere, in every country, at every hour with those who believe Albania should do better, the prime minister said, underlining the importance of understanding and communication.
However, he warned that any action that violates the law will be followed according to due responsibility. Rama accused some of trying to exploit the student protest for other political interests and condemned the use of violence during gatherings.
Who took the capital hostage must know that it will answer. He will legally respond, prosecuted, Rama said, stressing that the consequences will depend on the extent of the violations committed.
The government head added that a community’s will cannot be imposed through violence and that clashes should not determine the country’s political direction.
In the end, Rama voiced confidence that Albania will continue the path towards European integration, despite tensions and political controversy.
Albania will be part of the EU, the prime minister stressed, repeating the government’s commitment to continuing the European integration process.
