The education directorate in the Pristina municipality has decided not to give permission to implement high school seniors’ tours. Ali Sokoliʹ in Albania, pushing it for a later period.
In the decision of October 23, 2026, signed by Education Director Edsim Elshani, the decision is said to have been made following the assessment of current circumstances and given the safety and welfare of students.
This decision has been taken in view of the current tense situation, the possibility of presenting unforeseen incidents, as well as parents’ concerns about students’ safety during the trip, the decision said.
According to the Education Directorate, the trip will be postponed to a more appropriate moment when conditions needed for its development are provided safely.
The decision comes into force on the day of its signing and has been handed over to the Directorate of Education and the relevant school.
