Anita Mucaj-Haridinaj, wife of former Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj, has reacted after the assassination of Arlinda Zekiaj, expressing pain in the case and demanding that the person responsible be given due punishment.
In her response, Mucaj-Haradinaj has been addressed to lawyer Adelina Hoxha, asking her to announce publicly and to the investigative bodies which person with the name Haradinaj is referred to, concerning the threats that, according to her, had made the suspect in the murder of Arlinda Zekaj.
She has stressed that it is not the first time that various persons misuse the surname Haradinaj to intimidate and threaten others, using it as a shield for their actions.
Mucaj-Haradinaj has added that she, her children, and hundreds of other members of the family hold this name, so she has asked that there be no uncertainty about who the lawyer refers to.
This is an adjective representing the sacrifice and love for the homeland, respect for the state and law, not the shelter of villains and criminals, it has written.
