ADrinda Zekiaj was killed only 10 minutes after returning with police escort to her home in Vitomirica, Peja, where she did not feel safe.
She was allegedly hit to death by an axe by her brother – in – law, Africa Sylaj, on the run.
Zekiaj had initially denounced the violence by the former husband, against whom the prosecution had filed charges on October 23rd for scurrying into family relations.
The victim’s family are accusing institutions of neglect, while the late one has expressed concerns even in the letter to institutions.
