In his message, King Charles III and his wife have conveyed their congratulations to the President, stressing the close and lasting friendship between the United Kingdom and Kosovo, based on common values and strengthened through years through partnership.
The king recalled his first visit to Kosovo in 1999, shortly after the end of the war as well as his 2016 visit, when he and his wife visited Prizren an exhibition of the deeds of President Shiroka Pula’s late father.
In the message, he stressed that the two countries will continue to co-operate for security and stability in Europe at a time when the world faces significant geopolitical and climate challenges.
Charles III expressed its wish that President Shiroka Pula’s mandate further deepen ties between the two countries, conveying the best wishes for him and the people of Kosovo.
