The Court of Appeals will consider Thursday the complaints filed over the act of murder of Liridona Ademiaj, for which Naim Murseli has been sentenced to life in prison.
Mursel’s defense, through a 30 – page complaint, has called for an annulment of the bias or pronunciation of a milder sentence.
Lawyers claim that the first-instance court has assessed the evidence unilaterally and selectively, as well as have raised claims concerning Mursel’s manner of questioning by police.
In the complaint, the defence has also rejected the disapproval of several of its proposals, including the reconstruction of the site and the examination of Mursel’s clothing.
The Apel complaint also featured Leotrim Syla, the lawyer of the late family Liridona Ademiaj, who has demanded that life in prison, along with Naim Mursel and Granit Plava, be punished by the Cocalla Framework.
