The case of journalists resigning from their workplace has sparked widespread concern in the country’s media community. The Kosovo Journalists’ association has voiced serious concern over the circumstances that led to the once-designed resignation of seven journalists and members of the Kosovo Clan portal staff for no extra hours’ wages, disrespect of holidays and hours defined by law, as well as psychological pressure and heavy conditions in the working environment.
Meanwhile, the Kosovo Clan management has said that the dispute with the staff is related to organising coverage of television formats, which, according to them, for overtime commitments is preempted additional payment.
