The decision was made after reviewing the Constitutional Prosecutor’s request in Pristina for the appointment of the detention measure. However, the judge of the preliminary procedure has rejected this request as unfounded and has decided on the measure of house arrest.
According to the Court’s report, this measure has been deemed sufficient to prevent the risk of repeating criminal acts, protecting the damaged and ensuring the regular development of criminal procedure.
The court has made it known that the defendant and injured no longer lives in family communities, while house arrest is assigned to a property that is damaged, with the aim of avoiding direct contact between them.
The implementation of this move has been entrusted to the Police Station in Vushtrri, which is obliged to make regular verifications and immediately announce the tribunal in the event of its disrespect by the defendant.
