In its public response, the Alliance has estimated that the loss of these means testifies to the lack of planning, responsibility and capacities to seize opportunities offered by international partners.
According to the Alliance, this situation comes in a difficult economic period, when citizens are facing increased cost of living, while businesses are facing numerous difficulties in their operation.
The party has also criticised the Government’s performance in international reports, claiming its problems are not only limited to the domestic economy, but reflected in foreign policy and diplomacy as well.
The Alliance has stressed that the loss of millions of euros from European funds should not be treated as a normal administrative delay, but as an issue requiring institutional responsibility and accountability.
At the end of the response, the Alliance has warned that the consequences of losing these means will be felt directly by citizens, while demanding responsibility for failing to secure European Union funds.
