Zelensky: Russian attack on Zaporzya left 18 people dead and five wounded

Ukraine’s president, Voldymyr Zelensky, has announced that a Russian air strike in the village of Komyshuwakha, in the Zaporizina region, has killed 18 people and injured five others.

According to Zelensky, Russian forces originally bombed a school used to distribute humanitarian aid.

He said that after the first attack, another nine bombs followed, which directly hit the shelter where the residents were gathered.

Through a response to the telegram, the Ukrainian president accused Russia of showing no willingness to reduce tensions and achieve peace.

The village of Komyshuwakha is located southeast of Zaporizia.
