The wide international-sized police operation, which started today at several locations in Pristina, Ferizaj and Fushe Kosovo, has resulted in the arrest of at least three people, exclusively teaches the Signal Journal.

Signal sources suggest that, within this action, persons with initials were arrested I.H., A.G. and M.P.

During the operation, which is under suspicion of laundering money and international criminal activity, cars and computer equipment have also been seized, which are expected to serve as material evidence under the investigation.

As the signal reported earlier, the action is being carried out by the Directorate for Investigation of Economic Crimes and Corruption of the Kosovo Police, under an investigation led by the Special Prosecutor of the Republic of Kosovo.

The raids are under orders from the Foundation Court in Pristina, the Special Department, while the operation is part of a co-ordinated investigation with international authorities, including German authorities.

International sizes of the operation are related to allegations of organised criminal activity, with investigators aiming to clear the flow of money and possible financial ties between persons involved.

Investigations are also expected to include analyzing seized equipment, communications and documentation that could help identify suspected financial mechanisms.

So far no other details have been made public concerning the role of arrested persons, the value of sequentised property, or concrete allegations against them.

Operation and investigative actions are under way, while other official information concerning the results of the action is expected.

The signal newspaper will report new developments once it provides additional information.
