The police’s anti-magic legislation, which the Signal reported exclusively earlier, is heading towards completion with several arrested persons, weapons and ammunition seized and electronic devices allegedly used for organising illegal lucky games. The operation has been extended to about 20 locations in Prizren, Suhareka and Dragas, following a long investigation involving secret investigative measures.
Signal Journal sources suggest that some persons were arrested during the action and are currently being interviewed, while the raids have ended up in part of the locations.
The operation has been conducted by investigators from the Regional Police Directorate in Prizren, in co-operation with the Constitutional Prosecutor in Prizren and on the basis of the court ordinance.
According to information provided by the signal, the controls were conducted at about 20 locations, where investigators sought evidence related to the alleged organisation of the illegal game of fate.
Besides gambling devices, there are weapons and ammunition
Various electronic devices, allegedly used for the development of illegal activities, have been seized during the raids.
But along with electronic devices, investigators have also located and seized weapons and ammunition, which will be treated as evidence under further investigative actions.
The number and kind of weapons seized has not yet been confirmed, nor have they been found in which locations.
