American rapper Sean Diddy Combs could be released from prison on February 6, 2028, almost a month earlier than the previous deadline.
According to reports from the US Federal Bureau of Prisons, the date of his release has been changed following the transfer from Fort Dix prison to New Jersey to the Allenwood institution in Pennsylvania.
Combs, 56, is serving a 50-month prison sentence after being convicted of two counts related to the transportation of persons with a view to prostitution.
While in the previous prison, the rapper had faced disciplinary measures for claims concerning the use of banned phones and conflicts with other prisoners. It is also reported that it had lost 41 days of credit for good behavior.
His representative has said he welcomes the change of date if the information is confirmed, stressing that the security and welfare of Chambs remains a priority.
