The Parents’ Council of the High and High School of the Low School, ‘%smail Kemali, in Pristina, has announced that on Friday, November 6th, the learning process will be boycotted in general, due to the serious hygieno-sanitary situation at school.
In a statement to all parents, the Council has said the decision comes after the lack of a concrete solution to the problem of cleaning and maintenance of school objects, as well as concerns about the risk these conditions may pose to students’ health.
According to parents, cleaning workers are on strike, while because of lack of maintenance, they have been forced to take care of school cleaning themselves.
They have also expressed disappointment with the lack of response from the Municipal Directorate of Education ( KKA, adding that its director is refusing to meet to discuss the problem and find a solution.
Parents have estimated that in the absence of institutional intervention, the situation at school has become disturbing and can endanger the health of children.
For this reason, they have decided that Friday’s boycott will be in the entire learning process, to address the problem of hygiene and maintenance.
In view of the extremely disturbing hygieno-sanitary situation at our school, the lack of a concrete solution to the cleaning and maintenance problem, and the potential risk these conditions pose to our children’s health, we announce: T Friday, November 6, 2026, BOJCOST IN THEY PROCES SERVANT IN EXAMPU ISMAI LQMALE. This is the unanimous decision of the Council of Parents of School ( DPA, in response to the created situation and lack of concrete guarantees for providing a clean and secure environment for students. Despite continued efforts and communications with responsible institutions, the situation has not yet received sustainable solutions.
Reports of agreement between the union and the municipality are no guarantee that the cleaning services will resume immediately and that the school will provide acceptable hygiene conditions. Our concern is even greater after cases of allergic reactions have been reported on in children, which require recognition by competent health authorities.
We cannot continue to remain indifferent in the face of this situation. We want to be very clear: We’re not against the learning process. Rather, we ask that it develop regularly and in dignified conditions. We fully respect the rights and demands of workers on strike. We do not seek exceptional privileges or conditions.
We seek only the basic right of every child – a clean, healthy, and secure school. We seek from the Pristina Community, the Directorate of Education and the institutions responsible for immediate intervention, complete cleaning of school facilities, and a sustainable solution guaranteeing continued maintenance. Education is fundamental right, but that right cannot be realized by violating the health and security of children.
Therefore, we invite all parents to avoid sending their children to school on November 6, 2026, joining this peaceful, shared response. The move is not taken to undermine the education process, but to seek concrete responsibilities and actions from those obliged to ensure the conditions for its development. PLACE CHILDREN E WE DO NOT DO IS IT NEGOCIOURAL! Please all parents ‘ representatives to distribute this announcement to the respective classes so that each family can be informed on time. Thank you for our common understanding, solidarity and responsibility, says the full announcement.
