With the statement by Judge Lenka Davitkova concerning the proposals of a part of the defence in the trial procedure, today at the Criminal Court in Skopje continued the trial against nine policemen accused of misusing official positions and authorisations in connection with the fire at the discotheque eyPuls) in Kocan.
According to the prosecution’s proposal, the defendants have not carried out the official post and have not realised full and detailed control over granting positive consent for issuing a license for the exercise of hotel activity for discotheque unjustlyPuls) in Kocan.
Witnesses accepted by the Court should be called to testify on November 17th. On November 14th, the presentation of material evidence on the part of defence has been warned.
In the fire at the club club… DNK, which occurred in the early hours of March 16th 2025, lost 63 lives, while more than 200 others were injured and sent to health institutions throughout the country and abroad. This is one of the worst tragedies in the country’s history.
