The Saudi Arabia-led coalition in Yemen said it has seized and destroyed two ballistic missiles launched by the Huth group towards the province of Nayran in southwest Saudi Arabia.
The air guard seized and destroyed two ballistic missiles released by the terrorist militia Houthi towards Nayranit, said coalition spokesman Turki al-Maliki, on the X platform.
Al-Maliki said the debris fell after the wiretapping and that the damage is being assessed.
His statement came after the Saudi Civil Protection issued a warning in Nayran to be alarmed at a possible danger before announcing the danger had passed.
Yemen has been involved in civil war since the Huth rebel invaded the capital of Sana and other areas in September 2014.
The Saudi-led coalition has supported Yemen’s internationally recognised government since March 2015.
Wars have intensified in recent weeks, with the Huth rebels launching repeated missile attacks and fearing on Saudi territory.
