The Alliance has criticised governance for numerous institutional violations, financial scandals, nepotism and lack of accountability.
In a Facebook response, Kosovo is said to be closing this week under institutional degradation, while government failures are weighing directly on citizens.
The alliance has stressed the reduction of electricity in several municipalities, despite millions of euros spent on electricity imports.
According to the response, over 11m euros have been paid within five days of energy import work, while citizens are again facing lack of supply and tax expensive warnings.
Another issue raised by the Alliance is that of appointments to foreign service, which it calls party nepotism. In response, family appointments of power officials at the embassies, as well as Foreign Minister Glauk Konjufca’s statement, that the lists of names are handed over to her for signing without considering them.
The Alliance has also criticised the behaviour of Vetevendosje deputies in the Assembly, accusing them of avoiding accountability during discussions on the findings of the General Auditor’s Report and of blocking reporting before the Parliamentary Investigative Commission for the Prime Minister’s Office.
In response, it also refers to the European Union’s Progress Report, stressing the findings for lack of progress in the justice system and criticism of fighting high-level corruption.
Meanwhile, the Alliance has also raised concerns about protests in Pristina following the assassination of Arlinda Zekaj in Peja, demanding institutional responsibility and criticising the silence of the heads of state in the face of citizens’ demands for the resignation of ministers Xhelal Svecla and Glauk Grovala.
The Alliance estimates that the lack of responsibility and response from institutional leaders proves that power has lost the sensitivity and legitimacy of governing the country.
