DLDK’s exclusive, Jehona Lusshak Sadriu, has criticised Government for its lack of results in the field of justice and the fight against corruption, commenting on the findings of the Progress Report on Kosovo.
Invited to the Info Magazine show in Klan Kosova, she said the report proves failures in the links of the justice system, Klankosova reports. tv
She said political crises have been reflected in delays in the adoption of laws, but the main concern, according to her, is lack of implementation and failures in many areas.
State is missing. The state has been in political crisis, which has been reflected in delaying the adoption of laws, but the most disturbing is that this progress report this year finds our state’s failure and failure in many areas, Lushak-Sadriu said.
Lushaku Sadriu said that, despite the reforms promoted by power, after nearly seven years the results in this area are missing.
This report finds that there are zero justices, there are failures of justice links from police to high-level corruption decisions. It claims failures and non-progress that all the mouth of power for justice has been abolished after seven years, nearly seven years of power with zero progress. And what meaning do promotional reforms have as long as they make zero progress? Here I should mention failures even in terms of competencies which exclusively were the powers of government. The fight against corruption.
) Today Kosovo after many years has failed to have an anti-corruption strategy. And the prime minister’s office is the main responsibility to make this strategy. That means it is a very clear responsibility that falls directly on the prime minister’s office, Lushaku-Sadriu said.
The LDK MP also criticised the lack of concrete results from reforms, saying statements are not enough without changes affecting the functioning of justice and restoring citizens’ trust in institutions.
She also spoke of increased violence in schools, in the family, and in women, claiming that childicide has tripled over the past year compared to previous statistics.
According to her, lack of economic perspective, employment opportunities and trust in justice are affecting the departure of young people from Kosovo.
Lushaku Sadriu stressed that responsibility for the current situation cannot be attributed only to political crises, as, according to her, the government led by Albin Kurti has been in office even during this period.
She praised that institutions have had the opportunity to continue reforms and the necessary processes.
No one’s stopping to undertake reforms and continuing the processes, Lushaku-Sadriu concluded.
