European Parliament reduces flags to semi-illusion for victims of attack in Poland

The European Parliament has lowered flags to half-species in solidarity with Poland, following the deadly attack that left six people dead and 16 injured.

This has been announced by European Parliament President Roberta Metsola, who has said that the institution she heads joins Poland in mourning for victims, writes the BBC, broadcast Duguagjini.

Meanwhile, a spokesperson for Poland’s Interior Ministry has confirmed that two days of national mourning have been declared in the country, which will be held on Sunday and Monday.

Montenegro comes after Saturday’s attack, in which six people were killed, including four Polish citizens, a British national and a woman whose citizenship has not yet been made public.

The attack injured 16 people, while the assailant is in critical condition. Two police officials, who were also injured, are in stable condition, according to local media reports.
