Emergency Management Agency ( The AME has successfully completed training for the use of basic fire extinguishers, which was held November 5th at the Kosovo Academy for Public Security.
The training included 25 officials from the Ministry of Economy and the Main Family Medicine Centre in Vushtrri, who were able to gain theoretical and practical knowledge of the use of fire equipment and response to emergency situations.
According to AME’s announcement, during the practical part participants demonstrated the use of fire extinguishers in simulated situations, with the aim of boosting readiness for safe and effective intervention.
The agency has stressed that such training is important for building institutional capacities and strengthening the culture of prevention and security.
Before preventing, preparing and professional response are the three main pillars of security and protection of life and property, said the AME report.
In the end, AME has commended participants for the successful completion of the training and has thanked them for their cooperation.
