Apple’s operational director, Safru Khan, has confirmed that the new folded telephone model, iPhone Duo, is facing delays in remittances, while the company still cannot determine when it will manage to meet market demand.
He made it known that production is growing, but currently demand is greater than supply.
The interest in this device has been extremely high. The iPhone Duo was sold within hours of opening preliminary orders on Apple’s page, while remittances for new buyers were extended until next year.
Even the American operator Verizon has apologised to customers for the delays, offering them the gift cards as compensation.
The supply problems are also being exacerbated by rising memory prices caused by the demand of the artificial intelligence industry.
This is increasing production costs for technology companies and can affect equipment prices.
Apple has acknowledged that she has already raised the prices of several products, while deepening her cooperation with the producer of Titan Perryman to provide the materials needed for iPhone Duo. /Telegraphy/
