According to the 24-hour Kosovo Police Report, the suspect has filed for an interview with the Special Prosecutor of the Republic of Kosovo ( P October 23, 2026.
In 24.02.26, at the Merdare border crossing, in Albania’s license plates, in a modified space within the vehicle, 1,000,000 (a million) euros have been found and seized, the Police report said.
Police have announced that during the interview, the suspect has admitted that the seized money was his, but has failed to testify to their background and the link to suspected persons who have made the transport.
The suspect has been arrested and, under the prosecutor’s decision, has been taken to custody, the Kosovo Police report said.
The case has been described as the participation or organisation of the organized criminal group.
