Kosovo police in co-operation and co-ordination with Border Police units have arrested a wanted person under international arrest warrants.
The arrest was carried out on November 7th 2026, around 17:05, at the Tower border crossing point, police officials have arrested Kosovo citizen with the initial M. The V., which was required through INTERPOL, based on the international arrest warrant issued by the authorities of the Republic of Croatia, under suspicion of involvement in criminal acts related to smuggling, sanctioned under Croatian penal legislation, police report.
At the order of the competent prosecutor, the arrested person has been charged with the 48-hour police ban, while the Kosovo Police will continue further legal procedures in co-ordination with competent institutions, the announcement said.
