British actor Caumil Turner has launched evidence in front of cameras for the role of James Bond, as the selection of Daniel Craig’s descendants seems to be coming to an end.

According to the Daily Mail, the 36-year-old was presented Friday at the Brady studios in Bershire, where it is expected to be assessed by project management.

Turner, known by the Fantastic Beats and Emma movies, has long been mentioned as one of the contenders for the role of agent 007. He married singer I Love Lipa earlier this year.

The role competition is also mentioned by actor Jack Lowden, known by the Slow Horse series Josh O’Connor, who played in The Crown, as well as Australian actor Jacob Elord.

According to the report, the evidence will be held over the weekend, and in the final phase, about three to five actors remain.

Professor Amy Pascal had stated in August that the selection of the new actor could be completed by the end of the year.

A decision by December would enable leaders to start preparing for next film during 2027.

The new film will be directed by Denis Villeneuve, the director of the Dune Sag. So far, however, no official announcement has been made about the actor who will assume the role of James Bond. /Telegraphy/
