Emotions and pride have prevailed on the day when Jethlum Bulnjak, son of hero Africa Bulnjak, has sworn in as a member of the Kosovo Police, following in his father’s footsteps.
On a special day for him and his family, Jetlum spoke with emotion about the realization of a dream that, he says, had shared with his father, the hero Africa Bulnjak, who lost his life in the line of duty.
Asked what it means to him from now on in their house will also be a Kosovo Police uniform, Jetlum has indicated it represents pride, but also a great responsibility to bear it in honour, just as his father had held it.
This day is never forgotten. He was my dream, and my father was already inheriting his uniform. )
I’m believing that I’m only proud to keep my father’s uniform. )
The most exciting moment came when he was asked whether he would be willing to give his life for Kosovo, as his father did.
I believe I’m a father, for crying and wearing this uniform. )
