144m across the rope, 150m above land Austrian sets world record

Austrian Florian Zoller has entered the story by setting a world record in Slackline discipline after crossing 144 metres over a special strip, stretched between two cable booths in the Tirol Mountains.

The crossing was completed at an altitude of up to 150 feet [150 m] above the ground and lasted 15 minutes and 30 seconds. The record was officially confirmed by the ISA sports commission on 29 October.

Zoller, who has practiced this discipline for 17 years, witnessed extraordinary balance, concentration and control skills to successfully complete the challenge at extreme altitudes.

Slackline is a sport in which participants walk on a narrow and flexible tape, stretched between two fixture points. Unlike traditional rope, the strip moves and swings along the walk, making maintaining its balance even more difficult.

The Austrian record represents a special achievement in this discipline, where each step requires long preparation, maximum concentration, and precise control of movements.
