A British runner has combined the skills in running and solving Rubik’s cube, finishing four Cubans in a one-mile race in just over five minutes.
George Scholey fulfilled the challenge on October 12th, setting a new record in the Guinness Book of Records for the quickest time in ending a mile by resolving Rubik’s cubes. He finished the race in 5 minutes and 9.25 seconds.
Scholey has set up other records, including the largest number of cubes selected during the drive of a scanboard, totaling 500, as well as the record for the most committed Cubans within 24 hours, totaling 6 thousand and 931.
It also holds a record for solving cubes during the marathon run, where it had completed 520. However, this record was later broken by Spanish runner Toti Moragas Pardell, who managed to select 561 Cubans during the marathon.
For his latest record, Scholey had to pick a cube, run a ride onto the runway and repeat this process until four cubes and a mile’s total distance were completed. /Telegraphy/
