Kosovo Parliament Speaker Albulen Haxhiu has hosted today’s meeting with the heads of parliamentary groups with whom she has discussed the work of the Parliament and the organisation of parliamentary sessions in the coming months.
Through a post, Haxhiu has announced that the meeting took place in the spirit of an open and constructive discussion, where the Parliament priorities and the work awaiting MPs were addressed.
Today I waited at the meeting for the heads and heads of parliamentary groups, with whom we held an open and constructive discussion on the work ahead, priorities like the Parliament, as well as the organisation of parliamentary sessions in the coming months.
In the country, each parliamentary group represents different beliefs and attitudes, and that is a natural part of democratic pluralism. It is important for common interests to have full co-ordination, respect differences, and find common language where opportunities for cooperation exist.
Citizens expect from us responsibilities, commitment and decision making that address their needs and concerns, providing concrete answers to their expectations, Haxhiu wrote.
