Avni Bytyci, former adviser to Kadri Veseli, has denied reports that he and lawyer Faton Fetah have influenced recent developments regarding the change of the Law for Specialised Chambers of Kosovo.
Reports claimed it was done with the blessings of Ismaili Bridge, under an internal political battle with PDK deputy Practice Gruda.
Bytyci has reacted to a script published on NationalDenying these claims. He stressed that both Fetah and Gruda have friends.
In his reaction, Bytyci has expressed regret for former President Hashim Thaci and former Parliament Speaker Kadri Veselini, criticising the way he, according to him, The PDK is handling this issue in a sensitive period for them.
I regret Hashim and Kadrin, who in the most difficult moments of their life, their party has placed them on the scales of narrow political interests, Bytyci has written.
He has also criticised what he has described as turning domestic political clashes into public debate.
Bad for The PDK, at this critical stage in The Hague, will turn its internal battle into a dirty public battle, Bytyci has declared.
