VLad Dracula-Lowe, known as Drac, is a 51-year-old New Zealand, which has been identified as a vampire since childhood. It has made some extreme physical transformations to adapt to the appearance it wants, including the implantation of horns under the skin and the implantation of sharp artificial teeth.
Drac, a father of three, relates that for about 13 years he slept in a coffin until he was damaged by a flood and decided to replace it with a bed.
He admits that he has consumed blood, but he says it is not part of his daily diet. Also avoid exposure to the sun because its skin is easy to burn, so it usually wears hoods even in hot days.
In an interview for LADbible, Drac pointed out that people have come up with a wrong idea about vampires from movies and books.
I’m a perfectly ordinary man, but I was born a vampire and I’ve always lived by this style. I can’t turn into a bat or disappear, he said.
He added that there is no problem with entering church, touching holy water, or holding a cross, unlike what is presented in horror movies.
Because of his appearance, Drac often draws the attention of people in public but requires that they avoid prejudice and, if curious, ask him directly about his lifestyle.
I’d rather people approach me and ask why I look like this instead of drawing conclusions. I’m not going to bite or drink people’s blood, he said.
