Valmir Berisha, internationally wanted citizens of Kosovo by German authorities under suspicion of three criminal acts, has been arrested in Izmir, Turkey.
According to reports, Berisha was wanted by German authorities under suspicion of trafficking narcotics, threatening and illegal deprivation of freedom.
The news has been disclosed by Turkey’s Ministry of Internal Affairs, which announced that the arrest was carried out by Izmir Police teams, in co-operation with the Interpol and Europol Department, as well as Turkey’s National Intelligence Organisation ( M justly).
According to the official announcement, Berisha was in international search at the request of the German judicial authorities, through the system known as disfusion.
Turkish authorities have not provided additional details about the circumstances for the arrest, while other information concerning further legal procedures towards him has not been disclosed.
