Kosovo Defence Minister Ejup Macedonia has hosted a meeting of US Major General Stephen E. Osborn, the general adjutant of the Ajova National Guard, which he decorated with the defence ministry’s concerned service medal.
Macedonia has expressed gratitude for General Osborn’s continued commitment and contribution to supporting the Kosovo Security Force ( The KSF, as well as strengthening co-operation in the area of defence between Kosovo and the American state of Alev.
) In recognition of his distinguished service, commitment and contribution to the development and advance of the capacities of the Kosovo Security Force, I honoured it with the Ministry of Defence’s concerned Medal, Macedonia has declared.
He has stressed that partnership with the National Guard of Aiva has had an important role in transforming, professionalising and building the operational capacities of the KSF.
According to the minister, this co-operation testifies to strong strategic relations between Kosovo and the United States of America, which remain the country’s main ally in the development and empowerment of the military.
