The working group for drafting and harmonising the state strategy for appeals procedures of Kosovo Liberation Army ( U n The CK) in front of the Specialised Chambers in The Hague has held a constitutional meeting Tuesday, under the direction of Foreign Minister Glauk Konjufca.
Konjufca has indicated that the main directions of the strategy have been discussed during the meeting, groups responsible for drafting it have been appointed, and the overall work plan has been determined.
Our commitment is that the leaders of our liberation war have the full support of the state of Kosovo in their appeal battle. In addition to this support, we will firmly defend the truth of our liberation war in the international arena and reject any attempt to distort it, he wrote on Facebook.
Konjufca has stressed that the KLA unites citizens beyond political differences and that Kosovo institutions and political forces have the responsibility to remain united in support of its leaders.
According to him, this support should be accompanied by commitment and determination to protect what he describes as a historic right of the people of Kosovo.
The Kosovo government had formed the task force on 14 October, with a mandate for drafting and co-ordinating the state strategy regarding appeals procedures in the case of the KLA’s four-year specialised Chambers in The Hague.
