The task force for drafting and harmonising the state strategy for appeals procedures in Kosovo’s Specialised Chambers has held the constitutional collection on Tuesday.
Foreign Minister Glauk Konjufca, who leads this group, has indicated that the main directions of the strategy have been discussed during the meeting, responsible groups have been appointed for drafting it, and the overall work plan has been determined.
Konjufca has said the state of Kosovo will offer full support to Kosovo Liberation Army leaders in appeals procedures, as well as commit to protecting the truth of liberation war in the international arena.
He has stressed that the KLA unites citizens beyond differences and that Kosovo institutions and political forces have the responsibility to remain united in its defence.
Our commitment is that the leaders of our liberation war have the full support of the state of Kosovo in their appeal battle. In addition to this support, we will firmly defend the truth of our liberation war in the international arena and reject any attempt to distort it. The NLA unites us all beyond differences, because its liberation war lies in the foundations of our freedom and state. In this battle, all institutions of the Republic and political forces have responsibilities and will remain united, with commitment and determination requiring the protection of a historic right of our people, he has written.
The Kosovo government has formed this task force on 14 October, with the aim of drafting and co-ordinating the state strategy for appeals procedures in the case of the KLA’s four-year specialised chambers.
