Democratic League of Kosovo MP ( LDK) and former Kosovo President Vjosa Osmani have declared the Kosovo Liberation Army ( U ndo CK) is national pride and should not be used as an instrument of political lynching.
In a response to debates over the law on the protection of KLA war values, Osmani has said that the liberation war deserves permanent honour, but has rejected, as she has described, efforts to monopolise this story.
) The KLA is national pride, not political lynching instrument. She deserves permanent honor because it was the blood vow of a people who sacrificed everything for freedom, wrote Osman.
She has stressed that the justice of political positions should not be measured by the crowd’s applause or the intensity of the attacks, while claiming that, after the law’s return, propaganda remained without arguments.
According to Osmani, political lynching to the LDK has been chosen to cover the truth, which it has named as the party that laid the foundation of freedom, independence and democracy in Kosovo.
It has also rejected LDK comparisons with the Serbian List and allegations that this party hates the KLA.
Ibrahim Rugova’s party was equated with the Serbian List, with the criminal group that committed aggression against Kosovo, and even accused us of hating it KLA, she declared.
Osmani has stressed that protecting the liberation war should not be confused with efforts to adopt it politically.
At the end of the response, it has highlighted the contribution of Kosovo’s historical figures, KLA commander Adem Jasharin and former President Ibrahim Rugova.
But don’t confuse the defense of war with its monopoly. If there is a truth that we should always remember, this is: Our greatest pride is a story that unites Adem Yasar, the commander of the KLA, with Ibrahim Rugova, the Supreme Commander of our liberation war. Each on his own path served the ideal of Kosovo freedom, Osmani wrote.
This is our story. Common! Holy! And no one has the right to adopt it, it is over. /Telegraphy/
