After an hour of physical strife and verbal confrontation, Albania’s Parliament works close

The plenary hearing is closed after more than an hour of tension and physical squabble between DP and SP deputies.

After starting with tensions from the beginning, the head of the Assembly, Niko Pelesi, went directly to the polls because of the situation.

As he read the articles and voting bills quickly, the majority held green cartons in its hands, while the opposition overturned the chairs, blocked the speaker and then started throwing cardboard and bottles of water to the SP chairs.

The physical clash occurred between DP deputy Fidel Kreca and former Prime Minister Ervin Hoxha. Among the chaos, Pelesh managed to run this session and pass all points for voting. /tch/
