Ramadan urges investigation into police actions during protest

Alliance MP Burim Ramadani has called for the launch of investigations into Kosovo Police actions during the protest held in Pristina, where citizens sought approval of amendments to the Law for Specialised Chambers.

Ramadani has estimated that the police’s behaviour during the protest has been unproportional, while demanding that the Kosovo Police Inspectorate investigate the actions of police officials.

He has also published pictures of the type of tear gas that, according to him, was used by police during the intervention of protesters.

Ramadani has demanded that the Police Operational Plan be reviewed, the used equipment and the level of force applied during the protest.

They should see the Operation Plan in detail if it was well prepared, equipment and the level of force used, Ramadani wrote.

He has announced that, in the quality of the Security and Defence Affairs Commission member, he will request urgent reporting by the Police Director for measures taken during the protest.

Also, Ramadani has said he will also request reporting from Kosovo Police Inspectorate chief for the activisation and investigation into police actions.

If there’s a Parliament now, after the elections no one should think he’s out of responsibility! Your mistakes are not forgotten! They can’t be forgiven! /Telegraphy.
