Seven cases of violence against women in the last 24 hours, suspected of violation of defence orders

Seven cases of violence against women are reported in the last 24 hours in Kosovo, according to the Kosovo Police report.

Two of the cases have been reported for contempt of defence orders issued by the court.

In Fushe Kosovo, a man has been arrested under suspicion that, despite the defence order, he has exercised physical violence against a woman. The victim has accepted medical treatment, while the suspect, after the interview, has been sent to the prosecutor’s decision.

Another case was reported in Pristina, where a man allegedly violated the defence order by approaching the victim’s residence address. He’s been arrested and sent to the holding for 48 hours.

Meanwhile, three other cases were reported under domestic violence.

In Pristina, a woman has reported that she has been blinded by a man who is currently searching for police.

In Lipjan, a woman is suspected to have been physically assaulted after a dispute with a man. The suspect has been sent for medical treatment and, under the prosecutor’s decision, has been released.
