The Supreme Court of Kosovo has falsely rejected the Special Prosecutor’s Chief Prosecutor B.I.’s complaint against the Kosovo Prosecutorial Council ruling ( The KKP) for its departure from the leadership position.
The decision was made on October 27, 2026, after reviewing the permit of the complaint.
According to the Supreme One, the KKP’s decision to remove the chief prosecutor from the leadership position is not a disciplinary decision, as disciplinary responsibility has not been filed against him.
The court has estimated that the ruling has administrative character and that its legality should be considered through the procedure of administrative conflict, before competent judges.
For this reason, the Supreme has concluded that there is no legal basis for considering the complaint within its particular competence of disciplinary issues.
