A 22-year-old lost his life tragicly after an ATV accident (four-wheel motorcycle) in the village of Gjonaj in Prizren, where he allegedly lost control of the vehicle and fell from a height.
The case occurred on Friday, November 6th, around 1500 p.m., while the young man’s death was confirmed by the Schacir Bytyqi signal, spokesman for the Prizren Police Department.
According to official information, police units, following the announcement, have come to the scene, where they found the 22-year-old man lying at the foot of the mountain. The damaged ATV was found near it.
At the scene, the Emergency Team has also interviewed, which after medical examination has ascertained the death of the victim, identified by the initials A.H.
As to the case, investigators from the Police Station in Prizren, those of the Regional Investigations Sector have been engaged, as well as the Regional Forenzice team.
By order of the State Prosecutor, the lifeless body has been sent to the Institute of Legal Medicine in Pristina, while the case has been initiated as death investigation.
Police, in co-ordination with the Prosecution, are taking the necessary investigative actions to fully whiteen the circumstances under which the accident occurred.
