Kosovo striker Vedat Muriqi could leave Fenerbahce during the passing winter deadline, as the Spanish club Valencia has reportedly joined the race for his services.
According to media reports, Valancia has included 32-year-old football players’ list aimed at transferring them to reinforce the offensive department.
The Spanish club is in search of a striker and prefers the deal to be made in the form of borrowing.
In addition to Muriqi, Ukrainian attacker Artem Dovbyk and Brazilian Richalison are also on the list of Valentine’s wishes.
However, the transfer of Kosovo footballer is not expected to be easy, as he has contracts with Fenerbahce by 30 June 2029.
To realise this agreement, Valencia must find a financial solution that would convince the Turkish club to allow his departure.
Muriqi has had positive presentations this season, marking eight goals and donating two assistings in 16 official matches.
It remains to be seen whether the Spanish club’s interest will be concreteised with an official offer in January.
