Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti has held a meeting with European Bank for Reconstruction and Development ( BERZH), Odilé Renaud-Basso, in the margin of the Berlin Process Summit.
Kurti has announced that discussions launched in London in April have continued at this meeting, with the focus strengthening co-operation and infrastructure and economic projects in Kosovo.
According to Kurti, since Kosovo’s EURZH membership in 2012, this bank has provided around 967m euros in financial support for 151 projects in the public and private sector.
He has stressed that new mandates for investment are intended to be based on Kosovo’s strategic priorities, including energy and water security, defence, sustainable transport and infrastructure.
Kurti has also estimated that the EBRD remains an important partner for Kosovo, even on its path towards European integration.
