Albania’s national is expected to have two new approaches for the November matches.
It’s Amar Gerxhaliu and the goalkeeper of Cagliari, Elia Caprile, who have won Albanian citizenship by the decree of President Bajram Begaj.
According to decrees issued on October 19, 2026, Caprile and Gerjaliu are included in the list of persons who have acquired Albanian citizenship at their request, thus paving the way for a possible invitation from selective Rolando Maran.
Caprile can take advantage of this opportunity because of the Albanian background of his girlfriend, Emily.
Meanwhile, Gerjaliu has been part of Kosovo’s age groups, U12 and U19 respectively. On the other hand, Caprile has represented Italy’s age groups, and this season is being presented in Serie A with Calilar.
