U.S.A. Board of Directors. has decided to dismiss Hasan Krasniqi from the position of chief executive of this public enterprise.
The decision was made at the extraordinary meeting held on October 23rd, with five votes per, none against and no abstention.
According to the Board’s announcement, the dismissal came after reviewing Krasniqi’s duties and responsibilities, as well as after hearing its clarifications.
One of the main issues affecting this decision was management treatment of the administrative facility near the Radonic Lake Dam and implementation of obligations stemming from acts of competent organs.
The board has estimated that, after ruling 9 September 2026, with which the CRU Gyakova was ordered to take measures to cut off operator activity in the facility, the management had to act concretely, documented and within the deadline.
According to the Board, no later act of competent body authorising the use of the facility as restaurant and hotel has been identified as envisioned in the 2018 lease.
Although management concerns over possible contractual and financial consequences to the economic operator have also been taken into account, the board has estimated that implementation of the administrative order should be handled separately by the issue of final interruption of the lease.
After reviewing Krasniqi’s documentation and clarifications, the board has found that the measures taken by him have not been sufficient for meeting the obligations stemming from executable administrative acts.
For this reason, the Board has estimated that the way it addressed this issue constituted serious shortcomings in managerial responsibilities and had violated the confidence needed for its continuation in the position of chief executive chief.
