The head of the Vetevendosje Movement Parliamentary Group ( LVVV), Arberie Nagavci, has announced that they have started collecting signatures for calling an extraordinary session in the Kosovo Assembly in connection with the murder of women in Vitomirica Pec.
Nagavci has indicated that the session is intended to be held today, while as a first step, they will seek the establishment of a parliamentary investigative commission to examine the responsibility of institutions in this case.
Through an announcement, she has said the goal is to clarify all institutional actions and inactions related to the case.
Nagavci has stressed that the victim had sought help and protection, but three days after warning institutions of the danger to her life, she was killed.
Any action and inaction should be investigated and no one can evade responsibility, Nagavci wrote.
She has stressed that no woman should lose her life after addressing institutions for defence and that institutional responsibility is measured by the ability to prevent violence and react on time.
